This subtemplate converts a metre value, {{{m}}}, to another unit (dependant on a factor {{{f}}}, the default being to leave the value in metres); rounds to a given number of significant figures, {{{a}}}; and displays any value greater than 10000 or less than 0.1 in engineering notation.
