English: Fishing platform This fishing platform is especially designed for wheelchair users. The view was taken across the Martham Pits, a number of small fishing lakes, all adjoining each other, which are located just to the east of the River Thurne. A public footpath leads past here. Thin ropes with colourful bands attached are strung across the water in order to deter birds from landing. |
